The League of Women Voters of Sioux City works to make democracy stronger by educating the public, encouraging civic participation, and advocating for policies that serve our community.

While the League is nonpartisan and does not support or oppose political parties or candidates, we do take positions on public-policy issues. League positions are developed through careful study, research, discussion, and member consensus at the local, state, and national levels.

Our Advocacy Efforts
